Upcoming Events
The Active 20-30 Club of Redding puts on numerous events throughout the Redding area every year, serving hundreds of young children and their families. Events are put on by members and offers an opportunity to grow their leadership experience and professional development. As events and fundraising opportunities arise, be they annual or inaugural, members are encouraged to become event leaders supported by their club. Typical annual events are highlighted below. These events take months of planning, many volunteers, and the support of an entire community to put on and we are forever grateful for the continued support.
KICKS FOR KIDS

Active 20-30 Club of Redding is excited to partner with Q97, Red 103.1, Power94Radio.com, 107.1 Bob-FM and XS Sports 96.1 In conjunction with our Back to School Shopping Spree to help provide shoes to underprivileged youth in our community. Come down to the mall on July 30th from 10am-6pm to see some our club members and the amazing DJs from the radio stations!
REDDING LIGHTED CHRISTMAS PARADE
December 2, 2023
The Redding Lighted Christmas Parade is held every December on the first Saturday of the month. Over 100 entries from businesses, organizations, small groups, and individuals compete in this parade of lights. A new theme is selected each year through a contest.

Organized and presented by the Active 20-30 Club of Redding, the Sundial Film Festival showcases the talent and diversity of filmmakers at the beautifully restored Cascade Theatre.
THE BIG RACE
April 2, 2023
Ages 2-6 start at 10:00 am
Ages 7-9 start at 11:00 am
Location: K1 Field (1250 Parkview Ave, Behind the Redding Library)
Each year our club hosts The BIG Race. This event is for children between the ages of two and nine and encourages children and parents to work together or construct a "race car" to use in the race.

ALTA MESA PARK
3600 Scorpius Way, Redding
Once a year on the Saturday before Easter, our club holds an Easter Egg Hunt at Alta Mesa Park. In 2008, our club organized a playground build at this park and had over 300 volunteers participate in a one-day build.
